Ava had her very first Field Day at school today. Tomorrow is her LAST day of preschool. Wow. It was hilarious watching 50 two to five year olds follow directions with the parachute. The first time they all ran to the middle and sat down. The second time the teacher told them to run to the other side. The third time she said to not run or go to the middle, but just sit down right on the inside. Did it happen? Heck NO. LOL Mallory got to participate, get an award and a popsicle with the rest of the class. Good times.
After lunch I took the girls back to the school to play on the big kids' playground. They had it all to themselves for about half an hour- then the after school care kids came out. Ava followed one 8 year old girl around and said "WOW" to everything she did- hanging upside down, climbing up things....and then she tried it all too. I sat on a bench and watched them have fun. I should have brought my book.
Justin is up in Golden mountain biking.
It feels weird to know I will be leaving for Pennsylvania a week from tomorrow.
Ava has dance pictures Saturday morning and then we have a picnic to attend later in the morning. Life is busy.
